Meet the Team
Amy Allred
Director
Amy started Ionic Innovations over five years ago and has over seven years of experience developing and executing marketing and IT initiatives. Her background includes in-depth experience in information systems, marketing, procurement, marketing, technical writing and training. She has a passion for IT and marketing.
Prior to Ionic Innovations, Amy worked for the State of Utah in the Governor's Office of Economic Development and Rio Tinto in the Americas/Europe procurement division. She has also been an instructor at Eagle Gate, Provo College, and ITT Technical Institute teaching courses in business and computer programming. Amy has masters in information systems from the University of Phoenix along with bachelor's degrees in both business management and information systems from the University of Utah .
Jason Allred
Development Consultant
Jason has over seven years of development experience, working mainly with Visual Basic .NET, but also branching out to ASP.NET, Javascript, and database development. Jason currently works in the Transit industry at Utah Transit Authority and was key in developing their in-house Computer Aided Dispatch system. To develop this system, he utilized various technologies, ranging from .NET Remoting and and Message Queues, to proprietary RF Radio protocols. Prior to that he developed applications in the telemarketing industry. He is also well skilled in writing and documentation and has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Utah.
Kate Lowder
Design & Branding Consultant
Kate Lowder is an award-winning branding and design implementation specialist. Her consultation on the QA team for the Brigham Young University Admissions Application website led to a successful early launch, allowing over 3500 applicants to complete applications three weeks prior to the announced launch date. She led a team of six designers in the re-branding of Romac International, Source Services, and Randstad, all staffing services relying on exceptional design concepts to attract both employers and employees in an increasingly overloaded market.
Kate has over 10 years of design and marketing experience with companies such as Novell, This is the Place Heritage Park, DesignWerks, Challenger Schools, Kforce, Eli Lilly, iBahn, Senforce Technologies, SOS Staffing, and Jones Paint and Glass. Kate is also a native of Cedar City, which makes her uniquely qualified to understand the challenge and excitement of capturing the city's atmosphere online.
